GOD@WORK - A Day to Reflect on Our Work and Purpose 

For many of us, daily work is a struggle. It is marked by stress, mess and lack of rest. Likewise, daily prayer is also a struggle. We often find ourselves bored, distracted or distanced from God.  What if we could experience the wonder of God's love while we work? What if we could soak in God's presence while we pray? Is this even possible amid the stress of daily life? Join leadership author and coach, Alvin Ung and spiritual director Ng Wai Ling for this 1-Day Retreat as we pray and reflect on Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. 

Consider Paul's words: “It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for”. What are you living for?Paul also writes “He creates each of us….to join Him in the work he does” and by living out our “life work.” What is your life work? Not least, Paul prays: “I ask that…Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in?” Do you long to invite him in?

The prayer retreat is not an exposition or exegesis of Ephesians. This prayer retreat is an experience designed to guide us to love God with our heads, hearts and hands - in our work and purpose.  Alvin and Wai Ling bring combined experiences in guiding seekers, leaders and pilgrims in spiritual and leadership retreats in Malaysia and abroad. Their hope is that together, we may all take in the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love.
