Event Title: SFL4 Communal Discernment & Leading Together
23-Sep-2016 to 25-Sep-2016 Past Event
Venue: Chefoo Methodist Centre, Camerons

WHAT IS SFL WEEKEND?
The SFL Weekend is a strategic 3D2N intensive stay-in weekend of a process-oriented training and learning inspiritual formation and leadership within the TRAC community setting. Four major themes of spiritual formation and leadership will be covered over a period of 2 years, beginning with the issues related to the formation of the leader and his inner life. This will then be the foundation on which all other building blocks of leadership competencies and spiritual formation are added on.

HOW WILL SFL WEEKEND LOOK LIKE?
These weekends integrate some didactic teaching components with guided meditation and personal reflection/prayer periods. There will be intentional time carved out to process learning and reflection within a spiritual mentoring relationship and small group community.

THE OBJECTIVES:
To equip leaders of TRAC local churches with the theology and practice of spiritual formation and leadership development. The goal is to nurture a holistic development of a spiritual leader who understands that the ultimate goal of the spiritual life is the love for God and for our neighbour.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
LCEC, PCT, Bible Study Leaders, Small Group Leaders, Ministry Leaders and all who are interested in spiritual formation of the leader.

HOW WILL THIS BE RUN?
REGIONALLY

Our main purpose for running this at a regional level instead of at the local church is so that leaders from other churches can have the opportunity to connect with each other and share life together for a weekend. It is ICM's goal to nurture the connectional spirit which is the essence of Methodism! May we learn to encourage one another in ministry, share one another's burden and witness the work of God in the larger Church of the Lord Jesus Christ!
